Miso — Privacy Policy

The short version
Miso keeps your money on your phone. Your transactions, budgets, goals, categories, receipts, notes, and settings are stored only on your device. We have no servers that receive them, and we have no account for you to sign in to.
The one thing that goes over the network is buying Miso Pro. When you buy or restore Pro, your device talks to the App Store or Google Play and to RevenueCat, the service we use to check your purchase.
What stays on your device
- Everything you record: amounts, currencies, categories, notes, dates, attachments (receipt photos and files), budgets, goals, and recurring bills.
- Text Miso reads from a receipt photo, a Wallet transaction, a bank notification, or a screenshot. It is read on the device and never uploaded.
- Your preferences (name, mascot name, language, currency, notification switches).
- How many receipt and capture readings you have used this month.
Deleting the app deletes all of it. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.

We do not send your name, email, transactions, or any other content to RevenueCat. We do not use this data for advertising or tracking, and we do not sell it.

Analytics, ads, and tracking
None. Miso contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, and does not track you across apps or websites.
Permissions
Camera and photo library: only when you choose to attach a receipt. Notifications: local reminders scheduled on your device. On Android, notification access (if you turn on bank capture) reads notifications on the device only.
Children
Miso is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from them.
Your rights
Because your content never leaves your device, you control it fully: edit it, export it as CSV from Profile, or delete the app. For purchase data held by RevenueCat, contact us at support@bproduct.pro and we will ask RevenueCat to delete the records linked to your anonymous ID.

We will update this page and its date if anything here changes.
